Blue Spruce

Blue Spruce have the sharpest needles of all the trees we offer. However, a unique characteristic of the Spruce is its branches grow in layers and are extremely strong making it the best tree for large, heavy ornaments. The needles range from 1 to 2 inches and its color can range from powdery blue to dark green.

Canaan Fir

The Canaan Fir is our newest type of tree and its popularity is increasing each year. Typically described as a combination between Fraser Fir and Balsam Fir, Canaan exhibit characteristics of both. This fir has needles that resemble those of the Fraser and range from 1/2 to 1 inch. They have excellent needle retention and have a pleasant scent.

Douglas Fir

The Douglas Fir is among the most popular of all of our trees. They are typically a lighter green than other trees. The needles range from 1 to 1-1/2 inch and have excellent needle retention. The interesting citrus scent is perhaps what makes the Douglas so unique.

Scotch Pine

The Scotch Pine is commonly referred to as the traditional Christmas tree and is the most planted commercial Christmas tree in North America. Scotch pines have stiff branches and dark green needles 1 to 3 inches long. They hold their needles well.

White Pine

White pines are lighter green in color similar to the Douglas. White pine have the longest and softest needles of the trees we offer. They have little or no fragrance but retain their needles well. White Pine are generally not a good tree for heavy ornaments. However, they do provide a great option for people who suffer from allergic reactions to more fragrant trees.

Fraser Fir

The Fraser Fir is a native southern fir that naturally grows at elevations above 5,000 feet. This fir has dark green needles while the undersides are a silver color. The needles are 1/2 to 1 inch long and have the best needle retention of all trees along with an extremely nice scent. As a result of the elevation required to grow Frasers, we bring ours in FRESH from North Carolina.
